Hello! My name is William Nasif and I am a cadder on team 114! This is my third year in the program and I have been up to a lot since this year started!
Since the start of the year, I have been working on making a "second robot" design independently to learn the skills needed for building the real thing. Below is a deep dive into everything I did for this project in my time here!
Offseason CAD ProjectHere's a collage of photos from my time in robotics!
Picture ArchiveI love doing things!
• I am a very active runner. I am part of both XC and Track where I specialize in the 2 miler. No matter what part of the year it is, I always find time for a good run!
• I also love playing guitar! I find guitar very theraputic and love going through the learning curve of the instrument. I'm no Jimi Hendrix but I find passion in it!
• I am great at perserveering through adversity, and staying with a task until it is done. This is what I have been doing with my prototype robot
• I also have a love for learning! I always learn something new; whether it be making a new website (like this) or learning how to use one of the bounty of machines we have access to in the shop
While I do not plan on pursuing engineering in college, the skills I have learned herer are sure to be useful inside and outside of the workplace for me in the future. I've always been a tinkerer, and I know that the skills I'm learning here will be extremely useful in the future!
